Those who drink decaffeinated coffee are searching for so much more than just a buzz - they're looking for the rich, deep, complex flavor they know and love, but without the jitters. So why should decaffeinated coffee be made with second-rate beans that are stripped of their flavor and character by chemical processes? Serve a decaf coffee that will please even the most discerning of connoisseurs with this Arrosto decaf Mexican Altura single origin whole bean coffee! Unlike coffees that are decaffeinated using chemical solvents that strip away both caffeine and flavor, this mountain water process decaffeinated coffee doesn't compromise on great taste. Its approachable medium body and smooth finish make it an approachable option to satisfy any coffee lover looking for a decaf option, while its robust complexity is sure to appeal to more seasoned palates.
This coffee is made with robust, flavorful, single origin Mexican coffee beans, and pure, clear glacial water sourced from Pico de Orizaba, the highest mountain in Mexico. The coffee is carefully hand-harvested and washed to remove the cherry that surrounds the bean before being decaffeinated by a series of soaks and rinses in pure mountain water. This process naturally soaks away more than 99% of the naturally-occurring caffeine in the coffee beans while leaving the important flavor compounds intact. The result is a beautifully balanced, flavorful cup of decaffeinated coffee with tasting notes of sweet caramel and a smooth, nutty finish!
Medium Roast:This coffee is roasted to medium to highlight the beans' natural sweetness and lively character.
Whole Bean Format:This coffee's whole bean format offers you flexible preparation options, allowing you to brew the perfect cup for any occasion.
This medium roast coffee is ideal for pour-over or French press brewing methods. For a perfect pour-over, grind the beans to a medium-fine consistency, then simply pour water 30 seconds off a boil (205 degrees Fahrenheit) over them. You can prepare this coffee in commercial brewers to create large batches to keep on hand for the morning rush, or offer it in an individual pour-over coffee maker for an individualized artisan coffee experience that will please even the most discerning coffee lovers. Using a French press to brew this coffee is a wonderful way to extract the roasted toffee notes created by the long, slow roasting process! Grind the beans coarsely and pour just enough water 30 seconds off a boil (205 degrees Fahrenheit) over them to saturate all the grounds. Allow this slurry to bloom for 30 to 40 seconds before filling your French press all the way up and allowing it to steep for 3 to 4 minutes before plunging the grounds down. No matter how you choose to prepare it, serving this Arrosto decaf Mexican coffee in your establishment is a testament to your discerning taste that will keep your patrons coming back for more!
