This mobile lectern is a modern platform for a speaker. Whatever your presentation needs are, this standing podium will accentuate a classroom or conference. Each mobile lectern features a slanted reading desk to provide a large work surface to hold papers or other necessary accessories during a speech. The slanted top has a paper/book stop for holding handouts, books, laptops or other presentation aids. This beautiful lectern, mahogany podium, offers an outstanding quality at an inexpensive price so any speaker at a conference can have confidence behind this stand. Use the wooden podium in a restaurant or hotel dining room as a hostess station. It will provide a centralized location for wait staff to greet guests.
This mobile podium is constructed from 3/4" thick veneer finished wood. The veneer is stained and polished with a wood wax for a solid seal. Another feature of this lectern, wooden presentation furniture, is it can hold several multimedia components. There are three interior shelves inside the locking cabinet, which can accommodate most audio equipment, and can be easily wired through the pre-existing cable cutouts. Both doors on this lectern are independently lockable with matching locks. The unit comes with (4) keys. Due to the interior door hinges, the area to insert items into the lectern cabinet is 21" wide, although the shelf itself is 24" wide. The slanted top podium, such as a veneer reading shelf or contemporary wooden hostess station is a multipurpose speaker stand. This fully assembled lectern has 2 casters to make it easy to move by a single person.
Please Note: The mahogany finish is very dark, much darker than a traditional red mahogany finish. The shade, not the color of the finish, may vary slightly unit to unit due to the premium double coats of lacquer applied during the manufacturing process.
