Businesses that do not always have the need for a portable podium can simply store the stand when not in use by collapsing the unit. When this folding lectern is closed, it is only 4-1/4¡± thick. Each portable podium comes with (1) shelf for placing notes, drinks, or presentation materials. This folding display stand has a black laminate finish over an MDF core. The lectern ships flat. Each speaker¡¯s display has all the features of a wood podium but at a fraction of the price. These folding podiums have 1/2¡± thick lip for holding up notes.
