Mesh comes in all thicknesses, this is on the lighter side. Mesh is magnetic so magnets work with this sheet material.
Metal thickness: 20GA (0.8mm). At this thickness metal shears can cut with ease. Grinder wheel is also nice to cut with little effort.
To flatten the sheet, you would want to first unwind, flip, then reverse roll the sheet in large diameter.
Hold a while then lay the sheet flat. Some finer adjustment maybe required to make it perfectly flat. Be sure to wear gloves while handling this steel mesh.
Grid diamond shape measures 0.6 X 1.2"
